Dalium Flower - Fresh Almond
From the Plèi collection and made entirely from upcycled leather offcuts, the “Dalium” flower was inspired by the sculptural geometry of the dahlia. The tubular petals created in two contrasting colors of leather are meticulously assembled with a folding and stitching technique. Hand-sewn ribbed leaves adorn the slightly curved leather-covered stem. This flower can be displayed in a bud vase, with other leather flowers, or in a bouquet of dried flowers. The name “Dalium” is a play on “dahlia”, underscoring the creative reinterpretation of this leather version.
